We knew we wanted to take our business to the next level. We knew we had
a goal in mind as well as an acquisition target. The only piece that was
lacking was the necessary expansion capital. Growth & Profit Solutions
worked with us to prepare for our Road to Funding. Relinquishing equity of
the company was not in the cards for us and our deadline was tight, so GOPS
worked to find the banks that would allow us to achieve both of these very
important goals.

As far as Bannister & Wyatt, LLC is concerned, GH&I ought to be GH& “L”. The “L” is for Kay Leaumont, our white knight.
Bannister & Wyatt, LLC, was a small firm of hard working lawyers who knew how to practice law, but didn’t know a thing about running a business. We always felt like we were in a wagon headed downhill fast and one of the wheels was about to come off. The sad thing was, we didn’t know why and we didn’t know what to do to fix it. When it finally became apparent that we couldn’t make things better, we began inquiring about who could possibly help. Kay Leaumont was the name we got from everyone we asked.
Under her guidance, we were able to increase our profitability by double digit percentage points. Our staff went from a “me” mentality to a “we” mentality. We initiated systems and teams within the firm that are basic to business and still working for us now. Our billing is streamlined and efficient and there are consequences for the non-paying client. We have a budget, one year goals, three year goals, and five year goals.
In short, with Kay at the helm, the wagon headed downhill is now the little engine that could. Within two more years, we expect to be the big engine that is.

"I have been in business for myself
for 13 years, and except for accounting functions, I have carried the full
weight of running the company upon my shoulders the entire time. The
insight that I gained from participating in the GPS process offered by GH&I
is so exciting. I feel that my GPS team not only gained an understanding
of my business goals but of my personal goals as well, and helped me form a
plan to achieve both. In short, the GPS process turned 12 years of
innovative thinking into a series of One Page Plans for implementation.
Participation in the GPS process continues to be an investment in my
corporate and personal growth."
