Kim Hartsock, a Principal in the audit department of GH&I, provides audit and review services for privately-held companies and nonprofit clients.
Her experience includes work with engineering firms, general contractors, subcontractors and associated consulting companies. Ms. Hartsock has performed overhead audits and audits of construction projects at the end of state contracts.
For nonprofit clients, Ms. Hartsock regularly prepares OMBA-133 audits. Among the nonprofit clients that she has worked with are foundations, charter schools, clinics and homes for AIDS patients, homeless shelters, research organizations and programs that provide case management for low-income families with special needs children.
Ms. Hartsock also regularly audits employee benefits plans. Other industries of clients where she has experience and knowledge include manufacturing and franchise companies.

Before joining GH&I, Ms. Hartsock worked as a special projects accountant for the international fleet of the Hertz Corporation's rental division, and as a staff accountant with a CPA firm in Savannah, Ga.

Ms. Hartsock is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (GSCPA).
A strong community and firm contributor, Ms. Hartsock is treasurer and board member of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Greater Atlanta Affiliate; member of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) and Georgia Southern University Eagles Executive Society; founding member of the Leading Edge Alliance (LEA) Young Professionals SIG Steering Group; and GH&I-selected member in Boomer Consulting’s Performance 3 Management Program. She founded and organized the firm's Young Leaders' Group, helped to create the Charitable Giving Committee and serves a lead college recruiting role at Georgia Southern University. Within GH&I, she serves as member and co-leader of the construction and real estate industry group, member of the nonprofit industry group, and member of the interview and ranking team for firm sponsored recognition programs, including Bulldog 100 Fastest Growing Bulldog Businesses and Business to Business magazine's Top 25 Entrepreneurs and Ones to Watch awards program.
Ms. Hartsock received a B.B.A. in accounting from Georgia Southern University, where she also obtained her Master of Accountancy and was a member of Beta Alpha Psi National Accounting Fraternity.
