Recent amendments to Department of Labor (DOL) regulations, related to the disclosures of expenses paid out of plan assets, will increase scrutiny and could potentially result in significant fines. During this breakfast seminar, participants will learn how to:
· Comply with the new disclosure requirements from the Department of Labor (DOL);
· Evaluate reasonableness of service provider fees in accordance with DOL requirements;
· Avoid committing a prohibited transaction and exposing your organization to fines;
· Determine what the DOL will look for in audits; and
· Establish what questions to ask of third party administrators to satisfy fiduciary responsibility.
